In recent years, people do not have to go from store to store to find a mattress that is able to meet their needs and preferences. Now they can look for that perfect model online and not only get it cheaper, but in most cases also try it for a couple of months and sometimes even a whole year before deciding if they want to keep it.
Despite being able to choose from hundreds of different models and try the product at home without any risk, most people don’t want to spend their time on choosing a model, break it in, finding it to be a wrong choice and then having to go through the return process just to start everything over again.
Thus, we picked three popular brands – Nectar, Purple and Brooklyn Bedding – to review the abilities of each one to meet the requirements and preferences of different people. First, we reviewed how good each of them is for different sleeping positions. Properties, such as proper spinal alignment and support or good pressure relief, play a significant role here.
We also evaluated temperature control, noise reduction, motion isolation, edge support and potential off-gassing. In addition, we reviewed suitability of each models for people who suffer from back and joint pain, heavier individuals, as well as those with allergies and asthma.
Last Updated: After reviewing user experience of hundreds of people and examining the properties of each model we came to a conclusion that Nectar deserves to take the first place. Purple also has great options for its users, so it has the second place in this comparison. Although Brooklyn Bedding took the third place, it is one of the best affordable models.

See the comparison results table for a quick overview of our findings and read on to find out the details and valuable information about the features we based our comparison on.
1. Purple – Best Overall Choice
Purple markets two different models. Original Purple has a polyfoam base and a scientifically engineered Smart Comfort Grid that is responsive, has excellent pressure relieving properties and is able to closely contour the body. Thanks to the open grid design and breathable cover, it stays comfortably cool.
(more photos are available)
New Purple also has a Smart Comfort Grid at the top, but it is offered in three different thicknesses to adjust the firmness of the mattress. A transition layer separates the Comfort Grid from the pocketed coils and the foam base. This model stays cooler and is more responsive and supportive.
Since both models use the Smart Comfort Grid, they are able to closely contour the body, because the grid collapses where you want it to and supports where necessary. People of all sleeping styles and body types will find a good fit for them among the two models and multiple firmness options.
The Smart Comfort Grid used in both models will alleviate pressure points created by your hips and shoulders, as you lie on your side. Since New Purple is offered in different firmness variants, lightweight individuals can choose a softer model for better contouring and pressure relief.
People of all weight categories should find a perfect fit for them. The Original model will provide a good balance of contouring support and pressure relieving comfort for average and heavy individuals. The New Purple is offered in three firmness options and an individual can choose the optimal firmness level based on his/her weight and other preferences.
Purple users found that it was able to closely contour their body and support the spine in the natural position. Thanks to the proper support and reduced pressure around the hips and upper body, every muscle will be able to relax and rest.
The Original model should be suitable for all weight categories, while the New Purple can be purchased taking your weight into consideration: lighter individuals prefer soft or medium firmness and heavier sleepers usually enjoy firmer models.
Lower Back Pain Sufferers
If your lower back bothers you regularly, then aside from reducing strain on your back and keeping a good posture during the day, you also need to be confident that it is naturally positioned during the night. Purple will allow keeping your back in the natural position, while supporting it in the lumbar area.
Neck and Shoulder Pain Sufferers
Both Purple models do an excellent job at keeping the spine properly aligned to prevent pain and other problems. Aside from keeping your neck and head in one line with the rest of the body, Purple will also reduce pressure applied to your shoulders and hips, which is especially significant when you lie on your side.
Arthritis and Fibromyalgia
The uniquely engineered top layer will help to evenly distribute the weight and alleviate any pressure put on your joints and muscles. The responsive construction will also make it easier for people with rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis to move around the bed.
If you tend to sleep hot, Purple will be a great choice, because the open grid design of the Smart Comfort Grid allows for maximum airflow. A breathable cover and pocketed springs in the New Purple additionally ensure that the surface remains comfortably cool.
Both models are a perfect choice for obese and overweight people The Smart Comfort Grid will evenly distribute the weight of a heavy individual for best balance of pressure relief and support. Purple recommends a maximum weight of 300 pounds for one individual or 600 pounds total.
Purple is great at offering a balance of support and comfort for people with different weight and sleeping preferences. Both models are very responsive thanks to the Smart Comfort Grid technology. New Purple delivers even more bounce due to pocketed springs in its structure. The responsiveness and bounce will make sleep and sex more enjoyable.
At the same time, Purple effectively isolates motion and doesn’t make noise, which will ensure that your partner is not disturbed by your movement. If you need to use the whole surface, including the edge, when sleeping or getting intimate, then consider the New Purple, which has a reinforced edge.
Dust mites, which often cause allergic reactions, love to live in warm and moist places. Since Purple stays cool and your body does not sweat, your mattress will not become a friendly environment for dust mites. In addition, Purple’s Hyper-Elastic Polymer™ material is a natural hypoallergenic dust mite deterrent – perfect for people with allergies and asthma.
You can purchase both models in all the standard sizes, with an exception of regular Twin. If desired, you can purchase two Twin XL models and push them together to form a King for your guests or yourself (perfect for adjustable bases).

Original Purple is 9.5″ thick and New Purple comes in three thickness options: 11″, 12″, and 13″. The base layer in the Original is made from high-density polyfoam, while the plush comfort layer is topped with Purple’s unique Smart Comfort Grid and a breathing cover.
New Purple is also equipped with Smart Comfort Grid, but here it sits on top of individually fabric-encased steel coils. The transition and base layers are made of high-density polyurethane foam. The thickness of this model varies due to different thickness of the Comfort Grid layer.
The Original model is offered in one firmness option. It scores 6.5 out of 10, which makes it medium-firm. The New hybrid model is available in three firmness options: medium soft (4.5), medium (5.5), and medium-firm (6.5).
The quality materials, pocketed coils (in the New model) and high-density foams used in Purple mattresses should ensure long-term use of this product.
You should not have any off-gassing with Purple, because all the materials in the construction are 100% non-toxic. Only some users experienced minimal smell of a “new” product, which then dissipated quickly.
Purple Original does not feature strong edge support, and some sinking can be expected when sitting on the edge. New Purple has a reinforced edge with a 4-inch (6-inch in King) layer of high-density polyfoam, which greatly improves the edge support in comparison to the Original model.
Just like any other mattress, Purple needs a sturdy, flat foundation that will offer good support and will not allow the mattress to bend or sag. Purple can also be used with an adjustable base for enhanced comfort and better sleeping experience.

2. Nectar – Runner Up
Nectar is a memory foam model that delivers exceptional quality in this category and comes with a very reasonable price. Thanks to the high-quality materials, gel infused memory foam and high-density base foam, Nectar can fulfill the needs and preferences of most sleepers in most weight categories.
(more photos are available)
This mattress is also excellent at relieving pressure and closely contouring every curve of the body. A high-density polyfoam base keeps the body supported and properly aligned. Nectar has that classic memory foam feel but does not leave a person feeling stuck and unable to move freely.
Thanks to its breathable cover that wicks away the heat, gel infused memory foam layers and breathable base, Nectar is one of the coolest models in this category. Nectar’s cover is bed bug resistant and you can get a free one-time cover replacement at any time of your ownership. The warranty is also in effect for as long as you have Nectar.
Nectar is a perfect choice for lying on your side, because it has excellent pressure relieving properties, so your hips and shoulders will not feel that all the weight is concentrated in this area. Nectar will also contour every curve to ensure that you spine is kept straight from head to toe.
Stomach sleepers need just a little more support to prevent the hips from sinking in and misaligning the spine. Since it is a medium-firm mattress that distributes the weight effectively, Nectar will be able to provide a great balance of comfort and support for lightweight and average individuals, as well as for some heavy people.
Thanks to the gel infused into the memory foam layers, Nectar is able to evenly distribute the weight and effectively alleviate any pressure, allowing your curves sink in just enough to keep the body in the proper position.
Lower Back Pain Sufferers
The memory foam layer alleviates any pressure applied on the sleeper’s inflamed nerves and contours his body to keep the spine properly aligned and to allow the muscles to relax. As a result, it reduces back pain prevents any issues in the future.
Neck and Shoulder Pain Sufferers
The unnaturally bent neck usually provokes pain in this area and can cause problems with proper blood flow to the head. Since Nectar is able to effectively relieve pressure on your shoulders and closely contour every curve, you will no longer wake up with aching neck and shoulders.
Arthritis and Fibromyalgia
Memory foam beds are a good option for people suffering from rheumatoid arthritis or osteoarthritis because they are able to closely contour the body and effectively relieve pressure applied to certain joints. At the same time, Nectar is responsive enough to allow the user to move around easily and not to feel stuck.
Nectar is one of the best memory foam models for hot sleepers, although some still find that it is not cool enough for them. It has a breathing cover that wicks away the heat. The memory foam layers are infused with cooling gel for better temperature control and air circulation. The base layer is also permeable to air.
Nectar can support up to 400 pounds of individual weight and 800 pounds of combined weight. It is slightly firmer than average, so it is a good choice for overweight and obese people. Heavy stomach sleepers, however, need to make sure that their spine is kept properly aligned when they try this model, since many find that it lacks support.
Nectar is not very suitable for heavier stomach sleepers. If there are no such users, couples with different weights should find it to be a good fit for them. It is great at isolating motion transfer and is virtually noiseless. However, some couples would love to have more bounce and better edge support for when they want to get intimate and have some fun.
Nectar is a perfect choice for people suffering from allergies or asthma. It has a bed bug resistant cover, which, along with high-density foam and good temperature control, will reduce the likelihood of dust mites accumulating in your bed. The high-quality materials also eliminate any possible allergic reactions to the chemicals.
Nectar can be purchased in all the standard sizes. In the table below, you will see the exact dimensions of each model and be able to decide which one suits your needs and preferences the best.
|SIZE||DIMENSIONS (W X L X H)|
|CAL KING||72in x 84in x 11in|
|KING||76in x 80in x 11in|
|QUEEN||60in x 80in x 11in|
|FULL||54in x 75in x 11in|
|TWIN XL||39in x 80in x 11in|
|TWIN||39in x 75in x 11in|
Nectar is 11 inches thick and incorporates four layers. The upper layer is a cotton and Tencel cover quilted with gel memory foam. It is breathing and eco-friendly, and the memory foam gives an immediate feeling of softness and comfort while staying cool thanks to the cooling gel.
Then comes another layer of gel memory foam for more comfort, pressure relief and better weight distribution. The adoptive hi-core memory foam underneath offers some bounce, supports and improves spinal alignment. Finally, the high-density polyfoam supports and stabilizes the whole structure, while also keeping the spine in the natural position.
Nectar is a medium firm mattress that scores about 6.5 to 7 out of 10 on the firmness scale. The slightly firmer construction ensures that your body gets proper support and you do not sink too much, while the bed is soft enough to keep you comfortable and preserving the memory foam feel.
Nectar should last you 6 to 8 years because the quality of the memory foam layer is above average, while the base layer is made of high-quality and high-density foam. You can also be confident in its durability, because Nectar has a Lifetime warranty that shows the confidence of the manufacturer in high quality of its product.
Although a few users did experience some off-gassing with Nectar, it quickly dissipated within a few days. Any potential smell here is minimal and comes not from chemicals, because Nectar has only high-quality materials in its construction.
When purchasing an all-foam model, you should expect that the edge support will not be the strongest. Nonetheless, there are models that do a better job at preventing a feeling of rolling or sliding off the bed, and Nectar is one of them because of the high-density foam in its base.
Nectar can be used with a platform, box spring, traditional frame and divan base as long as they are not broken and can offer proper support to ensure that the mattress is not deformed. It is also suitable for use with an adjustable base.

3. Brooklyn Bedding – Also Good
Brooklyn Bedding is a great choice for people who need a wide range of options to find that perfect one: it offers six different models. Five of them are hybrids, four models are offered in three different firmness levels. There is also a mixed foam model for those who prefer such beds; it is also on the cheaper end.
(more photos are available)
With so many options to choose from, people of all weight categories and with all sleeping styles will find a mattress to their liking and needs. The hybrid models have great edge support, temperature control, are responsive and bouncy. The firmness range allows to pick one that does the best job at alleviating pressure and contouring every curve.
The mixed foam has outstanding pressure relief, contouring and motion isolation properties and offers good support for lightweight and average people. Since Brooklyn Bedding has its own manufacturing factory, it is not only able to provide lower prices but also better quality control.
Side sleepers of all weight ranges will find a perfect fit for them among one of the Brooklyn Bedding models. An ability to choose firmness in most models further raises the chance of getting the one that has a perfect balance of contouring support and pressure relieving comfort for your weight.
The Bloom and Bowery Hybrid models are the best choices for heavier individuals, while the all-foam Bowery should be avoided. All models are great for average-weight people, with Bowery being rated slightly lower. The same goes for lightweight individuals, but here Bowery Hybrid was ranked a little lower because it is too firm for this weight.
If this is your preferred position, look into hybrid models because they will offer proper support and have firmness options to better meet your needs and preferences. An exception is Spartan, which is suitable only for lightweight people. If you are lightweight, you might also like the all-foam Bowery, but Bowery Hybrid is likely to be too firm for you.
Signature, Spartan and Bowery Hybrid will be excellent choices no matter your weight. Bloom and Bowery are also great choices and will give you the support and comfort you are looking for, but they are not as good for heavier individuals. Aurora was well-received by lightweight and heavy individuals, but it is a better fit for average-weight people.
Lower Back Pain Sufferers
Thanks to the pocketed springs, quality comfort layers and different firmness options, all Brooklyn Bedding models are able to closely contour the body and offer great spinal support and alignment. Choose a model that will do it best based on your weight and preferred position.
Neck and Shoulder Pain Sufferers
Brooklyn Bedding will allow users of all weight categories and sleeping styles to find a model that is able to adequately alleviate pressure from the shoulders and offer proper support to keep the spine properly aligned, which is the key for preventing and reducing problems that restrict head movement.
Arthritis and Fibromyalgia
Close contouring and pressure relief are important features for people with rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis because they allow to alleviate pain and achieve completely relaxation. The firmness level of most Brooklyn Bedding mattresses is soft, which enhances these properties. Hybrid models also allow to switch positions and get in and out of the bed easier.
The hybrid construction of five out of six models allows for maximum airflow and temperature control. Hot sleeper will find that Aurora does the best job at regulating temperature. Signature, Bloom and Spartan are also good choices. The other models are good at staying cool, but some hot sleepers find them lacking in this regard.
Since Brooklyn Bedding has hybrid models in its line, obese and overweight people should find them to offer a good balance of support and comfort. Heavy people like the Bowery Hybrid mattress the most, with Signature, Aurora and Bloom scoring almost as high. Those who prefer to lie on their back or side can also consider Spartan.
Brooklyn Bedding has a great variety of choices and couples with different weight and sleeping styles should find a good fit for them. With the exception of Bowery, all models are quite responsive and bouncy and feature good edge support, which is appreciated by couples not only during the rest but also when they have sex.
Allergies and asthma usually make it slightly harder to find a mattress that will not cause any negative reactions. The Bloom model includes latex, which is naturally hypoallergenic and dust mite resistant, and an organic cotton and wool cover. The copper-infused polyfoam of Spartan has antibacterial and hypoallergenic properties.
Brooklyn Bedding not only has several models for you to choose from, but also presents all the models in all the standard sizes. Thus, you can choose a Twin, Queen, King or any other size that fits your needs, preferences and budget.
Signature’s 11 1/2″ thick structure includes a quilted polyfoam and cotton top. Following are a layer of gel-infused polyfoam and a layer of polyfoam. The base has 6-inch high pocketed coils that sit on top of 1″ of high-density polyfoam.
Aurora also has a quilted polyfoam and cotton top and is 13 1/2″ thick. A copper-infused Phase-change material, polyfoam, and gel memory foam make up the comfort layer. At the bottom, Aurora has high-density polyfoam and pocketed coils on top.
Spartan is 13 1/2″ thick. It has a nanobionic cover and CopperGel Energex foam, ‘TitanFlex’ foam and gel memory foam as the comfort layer. The same base as in Aurora is also used in Spartan’s and Bloom’s constructions. However, Bloom is only 12″ thick and has a Talalay latex comfort layer with an organic cotton and wool blend cover.
Both Bowery and Bowery Hybrid models are 10″ thick. Bowery has a quilted polyfoam and cotton top followed by gel polyfoam and polyfoam layers. The base layer is 5″ of high-density polyfoam.
Bowery Hybrid, on the other hand, has pocketed coils and high-density polyfoam underneath as the base layer. Its additional transitional layer consists of polyfoam topped with quilted memory foam.
With six models available, the firmness choices are already pretty good. The Bowery model has medium firmness (5.5) and Bowery Hybrid is medium firm (6.5). To ensure that every customer finds a perfect firmness level, Brooklyn Bedding offers the other four models in three firmness options: 3.5 Soft, 5.5 Medium, and 7.5 Firm.
Brooklyn Bedding models have an average or above average durability. Aurora and Signature should last the longest – for at least 8 years, with the Bloom model following close by (7 to 8 years). Bowery has a lifespan of about 6 to 8 years. Bowery Hybrid and Spartan’s durability ranges between 6 and 7 years.
Odor potential is minimal in most Brooklyn Bedding models. Even if you experience a mild smell of a new mattress, it will not be persistent or strong and will dissipate within a few days. Overall, Brooklyn Bedding is on par with other similar products.
Edge support is an important feature and most Brooklyn Bedding models do a very good job at keeping you supported when lying near the edge or sitting on it. This is due to coils and high-density foams that reinforce the edge. The exception is the all-foam Bowery that might have some sinking after prolonged use.
All Brooklyn Bedding mattresses need are a good, stable foundation. This can be a box spring that is not broken and does not allow the mattress to bend. A platform, a slatted wood or metal foundation with slats no more than 4″ apart and other quality foundations will not only allow you to keep the warranty, but also get a comfortable rest.
Warranty and Delivery
Brooklyn Bedding has free shipping and a 120-day trial to allow a customer to test the new mattress. Otherwise, you can return it after 30 or more days of trial and get a full refund or exchange it for a different model.
- Free shipping and 120-day trial period
- 10-year warranty
- Six models available
- Multiple thickness and firmness options

Mattress Comparison Features
Sleep is an important part of our life, so we suggest checking out these ideas to help you wake up renewed, refreshed and ready for the day. But we are here to tell you about mattress comparison features we used as well as to let you know what you should pay attention to when shopping for a new one.
In our comparison review, we took into account such factors as durability, warranty and trial period because you not only want to have enough time to ensure that the model you chose is the right fit. You also want to ensure that your new purchase will serve for a long time and be covered by a good warranty.
Our review also includes information on the make of each model and recommended foundation. We know that many people look for good edge support, quality motion isolation, optimal firmness level, effective temperature control as well as suitability for heavier individuals, couples and people suffering from allergies and asthma.
Our review also includes evaluation of such properties as proper spinal alignment with respect to your weight and sleeping position. Santhosh Thomas, DO, MBA, a spine specialist, also recommends making some modifications to your preferred position to alleviate back pain that often cause sleep deprivation.
To make it easier for you to understand the construction of each model and their advantages and disadvantages, we also included a quick overview of mattress types as well as sizes. Finally, we want to remind you that only you can tell what is really important and which model feels comfortable and allows to get a good rest.
As the name implies, innersprings have springs in their construction. They can be either interconnected or individually wrapped (pocketed). Both types ensure bounce, responsiveness and, usually, good support.
The interconnected springs, however, are not very effective at isolating motion transfer and noise and have a shorter life. Pocketed coils, on the other hand, do a great job at isolating motion, are silent and excel at closely contouring the body, because only the pressed springs get activated. Such beds are also more durable.
Hybrid models usually have springs in their construction, but some have a combination of foams, latex and other materials that create a perfect balance of comfort and support. They are often quite heavy and more expensive.
Hybrids with springs usually use pocketed springs and have a transition layer in addition to an excellent comfort layer. Hybrids are created to bring together the best from different types. Some hybrids also have zoned support and pressure relief for maximum comfort and natural spinal alignment.
Natural latex is usually more expensive than some foams because it is elastic, soft, yet responsive, naturally hypoallergenic, resistant to mold, dust mites, and dead skin cells, durable and great at regulating temperature while wicking away moisture thanks to the porous structure.
Latex is great at contouring the body, providing good support, isolating motion and reducing noise. This material will also not deform with time, even under a lot of pressure and stress. Some manufacturers combine it with man-made latex to reduce the cost, while still preserving the advantages.
Memory foam is a quite popular material in mattresses. This material is excellent at relieving pressure, closely contouring every curve of a person’s body, isolating motion and is virtually noiseless.
Since this material is heat sensitive and often traps heat, most manufacturers take different measures to improve temperature control and give it some bounce. On its own, memory foam is not able to provide adequate support to heavier individuals, and some users find it lacking in the responsiveness and bounce department.
Airbeds are not very popular among buyers because they are considered to be suitable only for camping and when you need an extra bed for guests. Nonetheless, these models have come a long way and now some people prefer them over other types for daily use.
Their advantages are ability to adjust firmness with just a touch of a finger, light weight, minimal number of parts that can be broken (and they are usually easy to change) and absence of sagging. However, they can leak air or get punctured. Some sleepers find that they are not as good at providing a desired balance of comfort and support.
What to Look For?
Did you know that sleep loss adds to weight gain? Thus, it is very important to know what to look for in a mattress to be able to choose the one that allows you to quickly fall asleep, stay asleep and wake up refreshed. We would like to tell you what features we considered based on needs and preferences of different categories of people.
Single adults and couples
If you are not going to share your bed with anyone, you only need to worry about the mattress meeting your needs and preferences. These are comfort, proper support and good pressure relief to keep the spine naturally aligned. Good edge support, temperature neutrality, responsiveness and other features are a good addition.
Couples would also want to look into how effectively the mattress isolates motion and reduces noise to be confident that they will not disturb each other. A responsive and bouncy model with good edge support will be great for sexually active partners. An ability to use it with an adjustable base will give the both partners more room.
Elderly people usually prefer softer or medium firmness models because they do not restrict blood flow and are more comfortable. This firmness level usually ensures better pain and pressure relief and allows the mattress to repeat the shape of the body to allow complete relaxation and proper alignment.
Many people find it harder to switch positions and get in and out of the bed with age, thus it is important to evaluate the responsiveness of the model. An ability to use it with an adjustable base will allow a person to spend time in bed comfortably.
Larger individuals would first of all look into the ability of a particular model to support their body in a proper position. This is especially important for stomach sleepers who often find their hips cave, which makes the spine bend unnaturally. Heavy people also tend to get hot, so a model that stays cool and is breathable would be a pleasant bonus.
A model that alleviates pressure and distributes the weight effectively will not only help to keep the spine aligned but will also allow the blood to circulate freely. Last but not the least, the sleeper should feel perfectly comfortable. Back sleepers can choose a medium or a firm model, while side sleepers will usually feel more comfortable on a medium one.
If snoring prevents you from getting a restorative sleep and keeps your partner awake, consider choosing a model that will allow you to comfortably lie on your side or be able to lift your upper body when lying on your back.
Lying on your stomach is also a good option for reducing this problem, but you should be confident that your body is supported well. Proper spine alignment is a crucial factor for reducing and eliminating snoring, because it allows to keep the airways open. Zoned support and pressure relief should make this much easier.
When recovering after a surgery, a person spends a lot of time in bed. Thus, it is important to ensure that it feels comfortable. At the same time, keep in mind that contouring support and effective pressure relief will prevent any pain that can arise from improper spinal alignment and in areas where most weight is concentrated.
Compatibility with an adjustable base will enable a person to spend the time in bed without feeling restricted. Good temperature control will prevent sweating and responsiveness, while good edge support will enable a person to move around and get in and out of the bed with much less effort.
If you are looking for a bed for a single person or want to have an option to push two Twin XLs in a guest bedroom to form a King-size bed, then this size is the right choice for you. Twin is suitable for kids who grew out of their crib, while Twin XL is slightly longer, just the right length for adults and older kids and teenagers.
This size is also usually purchased for one person, if the space and budget allow. It is also a good option for two kids and two petite/average adults. Just remember that the standard Full size is just 76 inches in length and adults usually go for a Full XL (80 inches in length), which is not very popular.
Queen offers enough space for two people and is often preferred over King by couples who love to sleep cuddled together. It is also a good choice for couples who have limited space in their bedroom. Finally, a Queen size will give plenty of space for a single person to sleep like a star and be able to sleep with a partner from time to time.
King or California King is the size that most couples go for. There will be more than enough room for both and even some space to share with a pet or a kid who loves to occasionally snuggle with the parents. California King is preferred by individuals who are taller than average, but it is slightly narrower than the King size.
Do you want to improve your sleep, but have a very limited budget? Then Nectar can be just what you are looking for, because it has a very affordable price while the quality surpasses even some of the more expensive models, according to the users.
Nectar is an all-foam model that has very good pressure relief properties and conforming support in the places you need thanks to the memory foam. It is also great at isolating motion and a perfect choice for back and side sleepers of any weight.
Like most foam models, Nectar does not have a strong edge support and is not the best fit for heavier stomach sleepers. Despite this, Nectar will not restrict your movement and you will not sink in too much. It is also one of the most temperature neutral memory foam models.
Purple offers one innerspring and one springless model. Original Purple and New Purple both have a scientifically engineered Smart Comfort Grid that is excellent at relieving pressure, distributing the weight and keeping the spine properly aligned. It is also quite responsive.
The Smart Comfort Grid, breathing cover and springs (in the New Purple) make it a good choice for hot sleepers. Purple is also an excellent option for those who suffer from back or joint pain, as well as for couples and heavier individuals.
New Purple is offered in three firmness options that allow people with different weight and sleeping styles to choose the best fit. Both models are a great choice for combination sleepers and well worth their price.
