Respect for All is an annual, city-wide, weeklong initiative organized by the Department of Education to promote respect for diversity through skits, art projects, readings and performances.

Council Member Jimmy Van Bramer Joins DSNY To Announce Placement of 24 Trash Baskets
On February 1st, Council Member Jimmy Van Bramer joined officials from the Department of Sanitation (DSNY) on the corner of 46th Street and 48th Avenue to announce the placement of 24 trash baskets throughout Sunnyside and Woodside. The announcement comes after constituents came forward requesting the need for more trash baskets along secondary streets south of Queens Boulevard.
